Gabrielle Union and Zach Braff star in the revamped remake of Cheaper by the Dozen!

It's been over 15 years since well-known Steve Martin's Cheaper by the Dozen 2 hit theaters. Martin's first movie was a success as they profited around $200 million from a $40 million budget.

The origin of these films comes from Frank Bunker Gilbreth Jr.'s novel written in 1948, even leading up to this 2022 project. Being produced by 20th Century Studios and directed by Gail Lerner, the film will take place in New Jersey with two parents from prior marriages merge their families to take care of 10 children.

Despite the previous movies having 12 children, this movie will be based more so off the 1968 motion picture Yours, Mines and Ours. Critics and fan reviews are having mixed feelings about the trailer, but here's the synopsis:

"The raucous exploits of a blended family of 12, the Bakers, as they navigate a hectic home life while simultaneously managing their family business."

Union will be playing Zoe Baker alongside Braff's Paul Baker. In the trailer, we get a preview of how chaotic the family can be. From TikTok dancing to drag racing, they're ready to cause some family madness. Union and Braff can be heard narrating the family in the trailer,

"We're not a cult. But we're weird. We're one of a kind all the way."

Disney+ will release the film on its streaming service March 18th.
