It was recently announced that Pose star Billy Porter will co-host Dick Clark's New Years Rockin' Eve from NYC, alongside Lucy Hale and Ryan Seacrest. The star shared the news on Instagram, revealing his excitement.

The trio will cover the festivities from Times Square, with Ciara covering all west coast festivities from Los Angeles.

This will be Seacrest's 16th year hosting the New Years Eve special, though, it's sure to look a little different this time around. Due to the pandemic, the event will be closed to the public, leaving Times Square empty and eerie.

But, even without a crowd, ABC will be bringing in A-list performers (per usual) to help ring in the New Year. This list includes Post Malone, Sam Hunt, BTS and more.

Seacrest shared his excitement for the upcoming event in a recent statement, saying:

"2020 has been a trying year for the world, and I'm thrilled to have Billy and Lucy join me in ushering in a new year with fresh beginnings. We look forward to making sure it's a night for everyone to remember."

You can catch Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve special kicks on Dec. 31st at 8/7c on ABC.
