REELZ channel is getting a bit more chilling this October starting with a night of true crime featuring stories from the women who survived one of the most infamous serial killers in history, Ted Bundy.

This weekend survivors like Rhonda Stapley Godding share the horrifying details about how they managed to escape Ted Bundy with their lives.

Rhonda recalls the night she encountered Bundy. At the time, he seemed generous and offered her a ride back to campus while she was waiting for the bus. She describes her first impression about the dangerous serial murderer, "This felt like a friendly college student helping another college student."

But it didn't take long for the ride to turn from friendly to terrifying. Rhonda remembers the moment she realized that she was in danger, "He turned a way that wasn't the normal route to the University. You can get there that way, but it wasn't the normal route. And I questioned him about it..." "He turns in his seat so he's almost facing me in the car. And leans in very close and then very very quietly he says, 'I'm going to kill you.'"
