First Look At The New 2020-2021 CBS Primetime Schedule

Here is the list of shows on "The Big Four" networks that are making returns or heading to the cutting room floor:


ABC's Network Lineup

On June 16, TV Guide revealed that ABC has announced their renewal schedule for the 2020-2021 broadcast season along with two new shows that will make its mark on the network.

Renewals include:

  • American Idol
  • American Housewife
  • America's Funniest Home Videos
  • The Bachelor
  • The Bachelorette
  • Black-ish
  • The Connors
  • Dancing With The Stars
  • For Life
  • The Goldbergs
  • The Good Doctor
  • Grey's Anatomy
  • A Million Little Things
  • Mixed-ish
  • The Rookie
  • Shark Tank
  • Station 19
  • Stumptown
  • 20/20
  • Who Wants to Be a Millionaire

Along with the 20 shows that ABC has renewed, it also greenlit the debuts of David E. Kelley's Big Sky along with Call Your Mother starring Kyra Sedgwick. It also announced the renewal of Supermarket Sweep starring Saturday Night Live alum Leslie Jones.

That means that The Baker And The Beauty, Emergence, Schooled, Bless This Mess, and Single Parents have been canceled.

NBC's Network Lineup 

TV Guide revealed that NBC announced its network lineup for the 2020-2021 broadcast season on the same day as ABC along with three new shows that will soon be making their debuts.

Renewals include:

  • This Is Us (through Season Six)
  • New Amsterdam
  • The One Chicago Suite
  • Law and Order: SVU
  • Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist
  • Manifest
The network season will also see a spinoff of Law and Order: SVU starring Christopher Meloni, Young Rock and Mr. Mayor starring Cheers alum Ted Danson. Those shows will be joined by The Kenan Show starring Saturday Night Live standout Kenan Thompson.

This means that NBC has now set sail to Indebted, Sunnyside and Bluff City Law.

CBS' Network Lineup

TV Guide also revealed that CBS was the first network to announce their lineup on May 6 with 23 renewals.

Renewals include:

  • FBI: Most Wanted
  • FBI
  • All Rise
  • Blue Bloods
  • Bull
  • MacGyver
  • Magnum P.I.
  • SEAL Team
  • SWAT
  • NCIS
  • NCIS: New Orleans
  • NCIS: Los Angeles
  • Bob (Hearts) Abishola
  • The Neighborhood
  • The Unicorn
  • 48 Hours
  • Undercover Boss
  • Young Sheldon
  • Evil
  • Mom
  • Survivor
  • The Amazing Race
CBS will be saying goodbye to Tommy, Man With A Plan, Broke, and Carol's Second Act.

Last But Not Least... FOX's Network Lineup

FOX played tag team with ABC and NBC on June 16, also announcing their network lineup for the 2020-2021 broadcast season, according to TV Guide.

Renewals include:

  • The Masked Singer
  • 9-1-1
  • 9-1-1: Lone Star
  • Last Man Standing
  • Family Guy
  • Prodigal Son
  • The Simpsons
  • Bless The Harts
  • Duncanville
  • Bob's Burgers
These renewals will be joined by NeXt, Filthy Rich, Call Me Kat starring Big Bang Theory alumni Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik, and new animated series The Great North and Housebroken.

FOX will be saying goodbye to Deputy and Outmatched.

Netflix- The Haunting of Bly Manor

Earlier today, Netflix dropped the trailer to the highly anticipated The Haunting of Bly Manor. The show, which is one of many Netflix originals, is the second to come from The Haunting series. Viewers may remember binge watching the horror hit, The Haunting of Hill House back in 2018.
