With last week's premiere of the penultimate season of "Stranger Things," Sadie Sink is telling all in the June issue of Glamour Magazine UK!

Sink spoke with Glamour UK about confidence, mental health, "being BFFs" with Taylor Swift and, of course, the newest season of "Stranger Things." On the show, Sink plays Maxine "Max" Mayfield, who is said to be a shining star in the new season. While speaking to the publication about her own personal confidence, the actress cites her character in the hit sci-fi series as a big influence within her journey.

"I think definitely playing the role of Max, who is for the most part a very outspoken and bold and confident person, has helped me a little on my journey to become my most confident self," Sink said.

Taking it back to her middle and high school years, the now 20-year-old actress recalls that there was never a moment where she "wasn't doubting herself." The "Fear Street" star talks about her confidence being impacted as someone coming up in such a cut-throat industry.

"You're around a lot of other actors your age, and I think you kind of always compare yourself to them, Sink told Glamour UK. "You start doubting your abilities. That was probably where my biggest insecurities lie, just in terms of coming into my own as an actress."

Luckily, the comparisons and competitive nature of the entertainment industry didn't get the best of the "Stranger Things" cast. Sink says the bond between all her co-stars was "amazing" and "instantaneous," sharing,

"It's really nice having a solid support group that's going through the same thing that you're going through. It makes being on set just that more fun."

Outside of the familiar cast of one of Netflix's biggest series, Sink has other notable friends to keep her company, if she ever gets down. One being Taylor Swift, who featured the actress in a 10-minute music video for her re-recorded song "All Too Well." Sink notes that Swift was someone she "always wanted to work with," but just didn't see how it could ever work.

"She's just an incredible human being. So smart and so grounded-just everything you'd want her to be. As a friend, as a director as a mentor, it's just really incredible to have her."
