Shanna Moakler "Will Always Be There" for Travis Barker, Following Hospitalization

Following the hospitalization of Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker, many prominent celebrities have spoken up to wish the musician a speedy recovery. Most recently, Barker's ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, has shown her support.

Barker was hospitalized on June 28 for a case of pancreatitis. On June 30, the former Miss USA released a statement sending love to her ex.

"Thank you to everyone who has reached out with concern to my ex and father of my children. I know he is in great hands and surrounded by loving support and the best medical teams available and his beautiful wife Kourtney."

Barker and Moakler were married from 2004 to 2008 and have three children together, including up-and-coming musician Landon Barker.

Moakler continued her statement to say she's hoping "for a speedy recovery and for the comfort of my children as I know they are very concerned and worried." She added,

"Travis has a beat the odds numerous times and I know with his support system he will do it again. I will always be there for him and my children."

In 2008, Barker was involved in a plane crash that took the lives of two of his close friends and left him with third degree burns covering his body. He has since suffered from PTSD and survivor's guilt, refusing to fly on a plane until 2021, when he accompanied his current wife, Kourtney Kardashian, on a trip to Mexico.

Barker and Kardashian tied the knot just last month in a luxurious Italian ceremony. A source close to the Kardashians reported that Barker was rushed to the hospital after experiencing "extreme pain," but seems to be "doing better" since treatment. They continued,

"It was to the point where he could barely walk. Kourtney is trying to lift his spirits and hates seeing him in excruciating pain."
