Soap Opera Digest Talks With Eric Braeden And When to Expect Soaps to Return | Celebrity Page

As COVID-19 continues to impact the production business, it is uncertain when soap operas will make their triumphant returns.

The Uncertainty Is Present

When asked by Sonia Isabelle on whether The Bold and the Beautiful will begin shooting new episodes in June, Soap Opera Digest editorial director Stephanie Sloane reveals:

"Well, that's what they're hoping for. The show sent a memo out to the cast and crew outlining their plans should they return in June. Darin Brooks tells us he's looking forward to seeing everyone once they get back, and Katrina Bowden tells us that fans are wondering what the fate of her character is since the last time we saw Flo, she was knocked down on the ground."

Adventures In Quarantine With Eric Braeden

When asked by Isabelle on how soap legend Eric Braeden is doing in quarantine and when The Young and The Restless will be back, Sloane goes on to say:

"Eric says that he's doing really well. He's been doing a lot of reading, watching a lot of Seinfeld, and texting with his co-stars. Eric has also caught the classic episodes that CBS has been airing of Young and The Restless, and has gotten a kick out of them. Eric says he's willing to return to work and is looking forward to it, but understands the time will have to be right and the proper provisions will have to be met."

Adventures In Quarantine With Olivia Keegan

Days of Our Lives star Olivia Keegan also spoke with Stephanie about how she is keeping busy these days:

"Olivia left the show last year, but has been brought back to Days for a new storyline and she couldn't be happier. She will also be seen in the second season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series on Disney+, thought we won't see her playing instrument - Olivia tells us that she's been working on her guitar and piano playing skills while under quarantine."
