The world of daytime doesn't slow down, so we checked in with Soap Opera Digest editorial director Stephanie Sloane for the latest soap opera news.

Remembering Kristoff St. John

The Y&R family will remember the late actor Kristoff St. John during a special episode that will show different castmates as their characters remember Neil. Bryton James, who plays Neil's son Devon, talked to Sloane about the upcoming episode. He shared that "he misses Kristoff everyday and considers it an honor to continue with the show and to get to carry on the legacy of the character that Kristoff created."

Reality TV To Daytime

Selling Sunset and DWTS star Chrishell Stause will return to Days of our Lives and will reprise the role Jordan. She told Sloane that she's "always happy to come back to the show. She actually dreamed about being on a soap when she was younger."

The Future Is Bright

Days of our Lives will return for a 57th and 58th season, which means it will be on the air until 2023.
