Tenet Film - IMDB

After months of anticipation, UK cinemas have started selling tickets for Christopher Nolan's Tenet.

Tickets for Christopher Nolan's new thriller, Tenet went on sale at midnight on Tuesday at cinema chains Vue and Cineworld. Tickets are now also being sold at Odeon, BFI Imax, Showcase and Picturehouse.

Tenet will be release in the U.K. cinemas on August 26. The film's release has been long awaited with its many postponements due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The release of Tenet is expected to be instrumental in the re-opening for movie theaters around the world. The buildup of the film is causing many moviegoers to reevaluate their caution about going to the theater.

Cinemas in the UK were allowed to reopen from July 4, but many theatres chose to push back their reopening. Warner Bros.' decision in late July to launch Tenet in 70 overseas territories from August 26 ahead of the U.S., as reported exclusively by Variety, has been welcomed by global cinema operators.

Tenet is set to be released in select U.S cities on September 3.
