Netflix's post-apocalyptic show The Rain will seem more real than ever right now, as it is centered around the children of a scientist who were able to survive a virus that spreads through rain and wiped out the Scandinavian population. The show started in 2018 and its third season has just been released. If you liked The Rain, you might also like the following shows, all on Netflix.

'Black Mirror'

For fans of the adverse outlook on the future that The Rain brings to television, Black Mirror might also be a good pick. The Watchworthy app says that fans of The Rain are nine times more likely to like anthology series Black Mirror. The show explores a variety of situations in the future that show what negative outcomes can come from modern technology. Season five also had a cameo from Miley Cyrus. 'The Society'

The Society, a Netflix mystery series has just one season so far, but has been renewed for a second season. The show deals with teenagers from Connecticut who return from a camping trip only to find the older residents of their hometown have disappeared. This strange happenings in The Society are similar to the dramatic events of The Rain, where there's a fight for survival.

'Sex Education'

Although this two season series on Netflix is more of a comedy, the show Sex Education is likely to be enjoyed by fans of The Rain. The comedy/drama series follows a student who opens an underground sex therapy clinic to gain popularity among his classmates.
