Thirteen artists are gaining their first nomination, including Guyton, Dylan Scott, Hailey Whitters, HARDY, Lainey Wilson, Margo Price, Nathaniel Rateliff, Niko Moon, Noah Cyrus, Parmalee, Ryan Hurd, Tyler Hubbard and Willie Jones.
Women Leading the Way
Maren Morris and Miranda Lambert lead the pack with four nominations each, including Female Video of the Year.

Video of the Year is the most coveted award of the show, and there are over 14 nominations for the spot, including Carrie Underwood, the winningest artist in the show's history with 22 wins, trying to make it 23!

Since she won season three of The Voice, Cassadee Pope hasn't slowed down. In fact, she's sped up. Her new single, What the Stars See, is already making waves! We chatted with the country starlet to get her take on the new track!
"It's a very sentimental, meaningful song to just signify the start of a new chapter in my career. And it's a song that I feel is just so relatable, like everyone has felt that thing, if it's through a breakup, or just somebody that's not in your life anymore, and you're just wondering 'What are they doing right now?'"
The new song is part of her upcoming ninth album, due out this fall!
"A lot of the songs I wrote, especially What the Stars See, were all about things I've been through in the past, and confronting those things is very therapeutic, so I'm just grateful for that outlet"
COVID has us all stuck inside, and just like everyone else, Cassadee can't wait to get out there and start performing again!
"I'm so ready, and I'm hoping for the fall, I'm hoping that's the time I can actually do my own thing and go on my own headlining tour"
But, until that day, she's promising more music straight from the heart.
"I want to make sure everything I put out there is something that I stand behind wholeheartedly, and that's just what keeps me going"

Savannah Guthrie And Hoda Kotb Sit Side by Side For First Time Since The Pandemic Began

After 15 months of being six feet apart, the morning co-hosts were able to return to their regular setup on the TODAY show amid new CDC rules.
If this is any indication we are close to getting back to a pre-COVID lifestyle, we are here for it.
The two hosts opened their show on Friday, May 14 in brighter spirits than usual- and on top of each other!
"Two vaccinated people! Does the CDC say anything about me sitting on your lap?"
Both Savannah and Hoda are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and celebrated being able to push their desks back together for the first time since March 2020. Savannah said:
"How long have we been waiting for this moment?"
The co-anchors rejoiced today amid new CDC guidances that were released on Thursday, May 13. The rule says Americans who are fully vaccinated against the virus can be both indoors and outdoors without masks or social distancing in most cases. They also said in a statement:
"The science is clear: If you are fully vaccinated, you are protected, and you can start doing the things that you stopped doing because of the pandemic.
With this announcement, we are definitely looking forward to more of these kind of moments going forward!
