In this television adaptation of Ian McGuire's iconic novel of the same name, Colin Farrell plays a murderous harpooner who joins a disgraced surgeon (played by Jack O'Connell) on an ill-fated voyage into the Arctic. As they struggle to survive in the frigid wastes and slowly give in to savagery, dark truths about their pasts come to light. The five-episode series was produced by BBC and will premiere on AMC+.

The acclaimed television adaptation of the 1996 film is getting a second season. The latest ten episodes are available to stream on BET+.

The Outpost

The Outpost is back for its fourth season, and the stakes have never been higher. The show follows Talon, a girl with supernatural powers who is left on her own after a multitude of mysterious missionaries massacre her ménage. In this season premiere, she discovers that an assassin is targeting her for unknown reasons. The Outpost airs Thursdays at 9 on the CW, and can be streamed live through Hulu and YouTube TV.

American Horror Stories

This horror anthology, which is distinct from the similarly-named American Horror Story, premieres today. Each episode will focus on a new tale of woe and suspense, and several promotional images for the show feature the Rubberman from the original series. The first two episodes can be streamed on Hulu today.

Families of the Mafia

In the latest season of Familes of the Mafia, the Gravano, Larocca, and O'Toole families return, but they're not alone. Two new mafia families will be joining them in their attempts to escape the shadow of organized crime. The dynamic docuseries returns to MTV at 9 PM EST.

Never Have I Ever

Mindy Kaling's coming-of-age comedy is back for a second season. Never Have I Ever follows 15-year-old Devi, an Indian-American girl living in Los Angeles, as she tries to balance her family relationships and her teenaged misadventures in the wake of her father's death. Both seasons are available to stream on Netflix.

Dr. Death

Dr. Death has adapted the grotesque podcast of the same name into an eight-episode crime drama. The first season follows the sinister doctor Christopher Duntsch (Joshua Jackson) as he leaves dozens of seriously-injured patients in his wake. Alec Baldwin and Christian Slater co-star as members of an unlikely alliance that seeks to bring Duntsch down. The show is available to stream on Peacock.

Dark Side of the 90s

The 1990s was the decade responsible for grunge, the Internet, hip-hop, and Bill Clinton, but there's more to it than that. In the latest series from the makers of Dark Side of the Ring and Dark Side of Football, those years are reexamined from a new perspective, revealing obscure secrets and changing the way audiences look at the trends and personalities that dominated at the turn of the century. The show premieres on Vice at 10 PM EST.
